Materials and Fabrics Used
Main fabric (solid color parts):
Cordura (100% polyester) with PVC backing – durable, waterproof, and easy to clean.
Pocket fabric:
Oxford (100% polyester with PU coating) – strong fabric with our original print. The extra PU layer protects against moisture and wear.
Sides and base:
100% polyester with PET-PROOF WATER REPELLENT finish – soft and comfortable to the touch, filled with lightweight polyester padding. Designed to repel moisture and resist claw damage.
Bottom layer:
Cordura (100% polyester) for added strength and durability.
Zippers and zipper tapes:
YKK brand – anti-nickel zippers with eco-friendly, recycled zipper tapes.
Mounting straps:
100% polyester – durable and adjustable for secure attachment.
How to Care for the Product
To remove pet hair or refresh the surface, simply shake or vacuum the mat.
For daily cleaning, hand-wash recommended. Wipe with a damp cloth or sponge using mild soap or laundry detergent.
You can machine-wash occasionally – choose a delicate cycle, use gentle detergent, and turn off the spin cycle.
Do not tumble dry.
Dry flat (with all zippers open) in the shade. Prolonged sun exposure may cause fading.
Note:
Frequent washing can shorten the product’s lifespan. Regular shaking and spot-cleaning are the best solution.
Safety and Certifications
All fabrics used are certified under OEKO-TEX Standard 100, confirming they are free from harmful substances such as heavy metals, formaldehyde, and pesticides. The materials meet high safety standards including REACH, CPSIA, and the chemical safety limits of EN 71-3 (toy safety regulation).
Additionally, fabrics from the PET-PROOF collection have been tested for enhanced resistance to scratches and snags from animal claws (BS 8479:2008), verified by the independent testing lab CTL GmbH in Germany.
